To Whom It May Concern:
I can’t tell you how happy I am that Sugar & Spice/ABC School of Nails has been nominated for the Business
Achievement Award for the Village of Lake in the Hills. Sugar & Spice/ABC exemplifies what a local business can be
for its community. They participate and sponsor many events in the community, such as Little Miss and Mr. Sunset and
the Jaycee’s Breakfast with the Monsters. Fundraisers have been created with their support for many organizations to
benefit children of the community, such as Starlight Foundation and Make a Wish Foundation.
The customer service is beyond extraordinaire for I feel at home whenever I receive services. My twelve year old
daughter feels the same way. I have recommended Sugar & Spice/ABC to all of my friends. They have told me how
wonderful it was to be pampered by these individuals.
I truly believe this would be an excellent choice for the Business Achievement Award for the Village of Lake in the Hills.
Sincerely,
Justine Schwarz

RE: Sugar & Spice Party Center
ABC School of Nail Technology
To Whom It May Concern:
Sugar & Spice Party Center and ABC School of Nail Technology should both be considered for the Larsen Business
Achievement Award.
Sugar & Spice has been a great advocate in helping younger girls get to know themselves through “make-believe”.
This has bolstered their self-confidence and sense of well- being. It is also a step toward looking at careers. Sugar &
Spice has also given “grown-up” girls that special lift that we all need every now and then, whether it’s for a manicure,
pedicure, or massage.
In the matter of careers, the ABC School of Nail Technology is a further step to a career. Education is right in our
own back yard! This is not only for younger people wanting to start out, but for those of us who have already had one
“career” and need to fulfill another void.
Because both of these businesses are owned and operated in our Village by the same person, Cindy Heidemann,
please consider a joint presentation award.
Sincerely,
Jean Murawski

HI MY NAME IS MARGARET MYNATT AND I HAVE BEEN A STUDENT AT ABC NAIL SCHOOL SINCE FALL 2005.
CINDY HEIDEMANN HAS MADE SCHOOL FOR ME AFFORDABLE AND FUN. I HAD LOOKED INTO MANY OTHER
SCHOOLS CLOSER TO MY HOME IN YORKVILLE ILLINOIS BUT THEY JUST DID NOT SEEM TO COMPARE TO ABC.
I HAVE FOUND THAT IN OTHER SCHOOLS THE STUDENTS DID NOT GET THE SAME ATTENTION THAT IS
NEEDED TO BECOME A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS PERSON IN THIS TRADE. CINDY HAS ALWAYS GONE ABOVE
AND BEYOND WHEN IT COMES TO HER STUDENTS AND THAT ISNT JUST FOR ME. SHE TREATS EVERY
STUDENT EQUALLY AND GIVES RESPECT TO US ALL.
THERE ARE A FEW SCHOOLS CLOSER TO ME BUT I WOULD RATHER DRIVE THE 50 MILES TO LAKE IN THE
HILLS AND BE GIVEN THE PROPER EDUCATION I NEED AND DESERVE.
SINCERELY,
MARGARET MYNATT
